Your Powerwall doesn't know your rate plan. Grid Getter does.
Grid Getter dispatches your battery against your actual rates, every 60 seconds. Set your goals once; it holds the line.
How Grid Getter automates your Powerwall
Set your goals
Pick your targets. Toggle the modules you care about.
Every interval, watched
Sampling every 60 seconds, aligned to your utility's billing window.
Powerwall acts
The battery carries out your rule: cover a spike, charge cheap, hold a reserve.
The demand charge is the fight worth picking
One 30-minute spike can set your entire month's bill. We put together a dedicated Phoenix guide covering APS and SRP demand charges, billing windows, and what Grid Getter automates for Valley homes.
Four modules. One battery. Every dollar accounted for.
Pick the modules that fit your home. They share the same brain — your goals, your utility, your hardware — so they never fight each other.
Cap your peak. Predictable bills.
Watches grid draw every 60 seconds during peak hours and shifts load to your Powerwall before a spike turns into a demand charge. SRP & APS pre-configured.
Live MonitorSee where every watt goes, live.
Real-time dashboard of solar, battery, grid, and home — refreshed every 60 seconds. Stack-ranked top consumers, weather context, and full history exports.
Solar Self-UseKeep your sunshine on your meter.
Holds solar surplus in the battery instead of exporting it for pennies, then releases it on the most expensive minutes of your evening. Cloudy-day forecasts baked in.
TOU OptimizerCharge when it's cheap. Use when it's not.
Reads your time-of-use plan and learns your home's evening load curve. Tops up the battery during super-off-peak hours and discharges during the priciest window.
Every peak you miss is money you already spent.
Right now your battery is following a schedule written by someone who's never seen your bill. A real peak-hour simulation: the line on the right is what your bill would look like if Grid Getter were already running.

Everything Powerwall owners ask us
What hardware do I need?
A Tesla Powerwall (2, +, or 3) and the Tesla account it's registered under. That's it — no extra meter, no electrician, no rewiring.
Will it work with my utility?
Grid Getter supports 14 utilities today, including SRP, APS, PG&E, SCE, SDG&E, Xcel, and most major time-of-use plans. Don't see yours? Live monitoring still works everywhere.
How is this different from the Tesla app?
Tesla's app shows you what your battery is doing. Grid Getter tells your battery what to do — based on your utility plan, your home's load curve, and your goals. It's the brain that sits on top.
What's the savings claim based on?
$53.02/mo is the average DemandGuard savings across our customers in June 2026. Summer demand rates run 2–3× higher in most utilities, so summer savings are typically larger. We publish monthly aggregates on our blog.
Can I disable a module or override it manually?
Always. Every module has a one-tap pause and a manual override. Your battery, your rules — Grid Getter stops the moment you ask it to.
What happens to my data?
Your energy data stays in your Grid Getter account. We never sell it, never share it with utilities without your permission, and you can export everything at any time.
